Desenrascanço was an exhibition I led with the collective Melt Club at the Museum Joaquim Correia (Marinha Grande, Portugal, 2023-4). We created a textile installation by applying similar collage techniques to those I use in my own practice - contrasting and blending our contributions. It was a site-specific piece that responded to the history of the city, surroundings and the museum itself, with a focus on its intrinsic relationship with the forest Pinhal de Leiria - which has suffered with destructive fires in recent years.
