During autumn 2023, I took part in the Drawing Intensive course at the Royal Drawing School, London. There I attended three different courses; Materials of Drawing, Drawing at the V&A and London Parks and Greenhouses. This was an opportunity for me to draw intensively, to take some time to reconnect to drawing from observation - mark-making and registering my surroundings in real time. It took me out of the context of my own practice and provided an energising environment which heightened my skills and refreshed my approach to seeing and making. Above are some examples of the studies that I made during the lessons.
